Sveti Ivan Zelina gets an aquapark worth six million euros

first_imgThe City of Sveti Ivan Zelina has been handed over the main project, ie the complete project documentation for the Zelina Aquapark, which the City will now send to public law bodies and request their consent for the issuance of a building permit. The aquapark project will be realized in the area of the former Zelina pools, which in the second half of the last century were one of the most beautiful tourist centers in continental Croatia and a favorite picnic spot for thousands of Zagreb residents and others who came to swim in Sveti Ivan Zelina. The last fifteen years are no longer in operation, and in 2013 the City of Sveti Ivan Zelina began preparing the space and documentation to revitalize this area again. The project documentation consists of 14 parts of the main project and 4 studies, and was prepared by the company PulSaR arhitektura doo from Zagreb. “Obtaining a building permit is the final step before starting work. It is the most concrete indicator of our seriousness and determination to realize the Aquapark Zelina project, which the citizens are looking forward to.”Said Mayor Hrvoje Košćec during the handover of documentation. The conceptual solution for Aquapark Zelina was made by the company ActionPark WaterScapes from Spain in 2016, which is designed so that the project is realized in stages. In the first phase, water surfaces intended for swimming, bathing and relaxation will be built, as well as slides that can be used by adults and children. The first phase will also include a large “castle” with seven slides, and later a tall mega slide with other facilities will be added. There are locker rooms, toilets and other mandatory facilities for managing the aquapark, but most of the space will be used for catering and entertainment facilities that can operate throughout the year – club space in the basement, restaurant on the ground floor with terrace, large hall on the first floor which will serve for a larger number of guests and various ceremonies, exercise halls, wellness, spa or beauty facilities and the like. The estimated value of the project is 6 million euros, and the Aquapark Zelina project is also included in the list of capital projects of the Investment and Competitiveness Agency.last_img read more

No Gran Turismo 6 for PS4 but Gran Turismo 7 will appear

first_imgDeveloper Polyphony Digital isn’t very reliable when it comes to releasing games on time. They typically take a lot longer to complete than fans, and I’d imagine Sony, would like them to. So when Gran Turismo 6 was announced for PS3 rather than PS4, I speculated that surely there’d be a quick turnaround getting the game updated for a re-release on Sony’s new hardware. That’s clearly not the case, though.Japanese publication Famitsu recently did an interview with Polyphony Digital CEO and series producer Kazunori Yamauchi where they touched upon Gran Turismo 6, the PS4, and what will inevitably be called Gran Turismo 7.It turns out GT6 isn’t going to have a quick update and re-release on the new console. Instead it looks as though a new entry in the series is being developed for the PS4. That game will surely be announced eventually as Gran Turismo 7, and I say eventually as Yamauchi says we’ll be waiting at least 12 months for it. But it could be as long as two years away.Based on past performance, it’s fair to say that GT7 isn’t going to appear on the PS4 until some time in 2015. That poses a bit of a problem for Sony as it’s not like gamers can boot up GT6 on their PS4s due to it not being backwards compatible. Still, the prospect of a new game taking full advantage of the PS4 hardware is sure to excite racing fans and fans of the Gran Turismo series alike, and the waiting is just par for the course.last_img read more
